Although I really take pleasure in my job, I’m preparing to give in my letter of resignation. Since these are non-credit offerings, no real teaching certification is necessary. Candidates just have to demonstrate computer proficiency, excellent writing skills, and expertise in a particular line of work. I’ve seen calls for people to teach everything from grant writing to photography, foreign languages, parenting and childcare, GED test training, and more.
These options are merely the tip of the iceberg when it comes to legitimate ways to work online and make money. For example, I’ve also seen telecommuting positions offered in areas like customer service, high school and college tutoring, and virtual personal assistants, so I’m confident I’ll be able to find something soon. Thanks to this preliminary exploration, I’m very excited about the prospect of being able to earn a satisfactory salary while still being at home for my kids!
